Add a menu item
First navigate to the menu module on the sidebar
If the menu doesn’t exist press on Add new otherwise edit an existing menu (Both will result into the same functions)
Once editting or adding a menu you will be presented with the first step.
1. Menu title
2. Status
- Draft: Will not show on the current site
- Active: Will show on the site (If multiple are active with the same location it will show one of the two
3. Location
- Header left: Will show the menu on the left side of the logo
- Header right: Will show the menu on the right side of the logo
- Footer: Will show in the footer
Once ready press continue to start making the menu
At first you will only see an Add Menu Item Once you click on that a menu item will be added seen on image 2.
If you press on New Menu item you will be able to edit the menu items
After clicking on New Menu Item you the following fields will be visible
1. The name that will be shown in the frontend
2. Internal link
- If active a select field will be shown with all internal links
3. Path to where this item will go
NOTICE: In the footer an item with children will not be going to the link
